Light
This project uses the technique of controlling light and formulating various design ideas. Our team has been selected to design a non-denominational chapel for Farmingdale State College campus. The client is interested in a Memoria Chapel and Meditation Chapel. Our job is to come up with a design that is based on a creative use of lights. We are to include a main sanctuary for 50 people.

I mainly picked this site because it is sort of secluded from the rest of the campus and the open land around it with a steady amount of trees brings out the most splendid sunlight all the time. Initially, there was a parking lot, and I decided to move the parking lot a little further up; and even though the building is away from the campus, it is still easily accessible.
